Carrie Krueger | BWCC Executive Director
Our Chamber is under the direction of Carrie Krueger, who joined us in June of 2023. To reduce costs for our members, we operate remotely. Our members have helped tremendously to support this decision by offering conference room space for our monthly board meetings. We have fortunate to visit our businesses in Baldwin, Woodville, and Hammond since we closed our doors.
While our operations are remote, we have worked to increase your chamber benefits. Member newsletters are published bi-monthly most of the year. Occasionally, we may only send one per month based off the needs of you, our members. We are present on social media. Members are co-hosting Coffee’s On and Business After 5 events almost monthly. A new website was launched on July 1st of 2024. Our Board is eager to begin planning Lunch and Learn trainings that will begin later in 2025. In 2024, we began hosting a booth at ReStyle & Co's We Are Midwest Market's. Carrie has been actively participating with local chambers and EDC's to advocate for the concerns your businesses are currently facing by attending Legislative Days and seminars. She regularly attends your local municipal meetings and has established relationships with local adminsitration as we all have a vested interest in the growth of our community and the success of every business within our Chamber.
You can reach Carrie by email or social media. If you would like items in the newsletter or shared, just send them her way. You may not hear back from her immediately as she has a full-time job outside of working for our Chamber. But rest assured, she will respond in a timely manner. Being that this position is a remote position, the hours are flexible to meet the needs of our chamber members and event schedule.
Carrie is supported by the BW Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors which consists of 12 active business members from our Chamber, all of whom are in good standing. Each of these Board members play an integral role on the Board. They not only provide the policies for our Chamber, but the support necessary for the staff to be successful in their position. They are also committed volunteers who wish to foster positive relationships for our Chamber members and events. You will see them working at every event and giving 100 percent. The Baldwin Woodville Chamber of Commerce and its staff are proud to represent each and every one of you.
