Message From President

Dear BWCC Members,

On behalf of the Baldwin-Woodville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, I am honored to be your new President.  I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of the Chamber and its efforts to promote and support our local business members and provide community events throughout the year.

In 2024 the Chamber welcomed 22 new members. We upgraded your Chamber website, launched a new Facebook social media page and participated in additional community events.  We modified our membership structure to offer Corporate Partnerships as well as a traditional membership. We increased our scholarships to local students from one $500 scholarship to four $1000 scholarships annually.  We’re excited to help support and promote such a vibrant business community!

For 2025, we want to remind you of the many ways we can help promote and recognize you as a valued BWCC Member:

• Ribbon Cuttings – as a new member or if you have a new service or location.
• Coffee’s On at your business – we have openings - schedule yours today!
• Business After 5 – we love to do this every few months!
• Membership Newsletter Email Blast – for upcoming events you may have, local community items of interest, job opportunities, member 2 member deals and more.
• Facebook Posts – we can share your posts – upcoming sales, deals, promotions, etc.
• Participate and/or Sponsor our BWCC Events

  • Reality Store (hosted by the BWSD)

  • Trick or Treat on Main Street

A new year is an opportunity to reset, and our board plans not only to continue to offer the above, but we want to enhance your membership. Some of our goals and promises to you, our members include:

• Networking opportunities for you as the members, we plan to add Lunch and Learn events to our calendar this year.
• Presence and activity in our Woodville community through volunteering and supporting the needs of our businesses.
• Promotion of our members events, sales, and events through Member Updates and social media.
• Member activity, involvement, and engagement with current and new members

We will do our best to continue to offer a variety of activities throughout the year to not only promote and support but to also elevate awareness to your business!  This in turn provides opportunities for our community to stay, support, and buy local.
